What are cooling heatsinks?
Cooling heatsinks are the metal mounting plates inside your headlights where the original DRL boards are attached. They help transfer heat away from the LED modules and are already installed in your vehicle from factory.
If you order our DRL modules without cooling heatsinks, your installer will need to remove the original white DRL boards from your factory heatsinks and install our color-changing DRL boards onto them.
If you order the modules with cooling heatsinks, the DRL boards already come pre-mounted on new heatsinks. This makes the installation easier and cleaner, because your original white DRL modules can stay untouched.
Main benefit: You keep your original DRL modules complete and can reinstall them anytime if needed.

The DRL color can be switched using the high beam flash. Depending on the module version, different flash combinations can activate color change, CSL mode, show mode or reset functions.
Installation depends on your vehicle and headlight type. In many cases, the bumper or headlight parts need to be removed to access the DRL boards. Professional installation is recommended.
